Sep 19 @ 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm

Registration is required!  Visit http://uoft.me/EngSciInterviewPrep2016.

Third-year EngSci students are invited to a special workshop to help you prepare for PEY and other job interviews.

Workshop:  Ace that Interview

Presented by Larry Goldberg, Alyssa Tilden and Supratik Das of the Bagg Group
We’ve arranged for professional recruiters to teach you the finer points of how to stand above the crowd.

  • Good narrative – How do you tell your story in a concise and compelling way?
  • Standing out – How will you set yourself apart from other qualified candidates?
  • Depth of prep – How much research should you do before the interview?

Feel free to bring a copy of your resume, if you’d like them to have a look.

Mock Skype Interviews with Alumni

See the workshop webpage for your chance to practice interview skills with alumni in late Sept / early Oct.

“Networking”.  It’s so important but a bit mysterious.  In this seminar we’ll show you why it matters and how to do it.  We’ll show you how to make connections to help you advance your career and find work faster, no matter if you’re heading for industry, research or grad school.  We’ll take the fear out of it!  You’ll learn how to use EngSci Connect and other networking tools, and how to tap into the huge “hidden” job market.

REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.  Visit the event website for details.
