Skule Life

Life in EngSci is rewarding and exciting. Students get just as much satisfaction from their social and cultural activities as from their studies. Through extra-curricular activities, EngSci students make lifelong connections, while gaining useful skills and experiences. These activities include:

  • The Engineering Science Education Conference (ESEC): On Friday, January 20th 2012, the 7th annual ESEC was held at the University of Toronto. The objective of this annual one-day conference is to broaden our students' horizons in their fields of specialization. Since 2006, we have been inviting world leaders in each of our various Options to present lectures to our students that explore research and education as well as career opportunities for young engineers.  ESEC 2013 will be held Friday January 18 2013.  Please stay tunned for the exciting line up of world-class guest speakers.
  • Skule clubs and groups: One of the many great things about being an Engineering student is the Skule Spirit expressed through the Faculty’s many groups and clubs, including the Toike Oike student newspaper, the Engineering Society and the Lady Godiva Memorial Band.
