Jane has been a tireless volunteer within EngSci and the greater university community. As a former Executive Co-Chair of IEEE U o fT, she scaled up the club’s existing events, started many new initiatives, and expanded the club’s membership significantly. She led the IEEE U of T team to host 20+ technical and professional development events, reaching 1000+ students within and outside of the university. More recently, Jane served a co-chair of the 2018 Engineering Science Education Conference, helping to attract many high-profile speakers to this annual student conference. She has also helped motivate and inspire the next generation by continuously serving as an EngSci Ambassador and a peer mentor for younger students.
After graduation, Jane will be joining Google as a software engineer.
