APPLICATION DEADLINE: U of T Engineering Alumni Applicant Assessor Program

July 31, 2020 all-day

Calling all EngSci Alumni!

Did you know that over the past six years, more than 200 alumni volunteered behind the scenes to help U of T Engineering extend offers of admission to exceptional applicants?

The Admissions Committee is seeking a panel of alumni volunteers to review the written and video submissions of applicants during the 2020 admissions cycle (November to May). Alumni input enables the Faculty to extend offers of admission to a diverse, well-balanced class of talented future engineers.

In addition to being able to give back to their alma mater in a unique way, alumni find the experience of being an assessor a valuable and fulfilling part of their own professional development.

Interested alumni must have graduated at least eight years ago and have five or more years of professional experience. As all aspects of this opportunity are online — including training — we encourage and welcome participation from those who live across Canada and around the world. Alumni must be able to commit approximately 9 to 11 hours per month in this important role.
