Jiayue He is a CEO with over 15 years of professional experience. After seven years at McKinsey, where she worked with a range of industrial clients, she transitioned to the tech startup world, founding Ergeon in 2018 with the vision of revolutionizing the trillion-dollar U.S. construction industry.

Ergeon is transforming how construction services are delivered by creating the ideal contractor experience for homeowners while empowering small, local contractors to become "Super Contractors." Since its inception, Ergeon has completed over 30,000 home improvement projects, delighting customers with an industry-leading Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 72, far exceeding the industry average of 0. In just six years, Ergeon has grown to a team of 300+ staff members across 40+ countries, operating as a fully distributed workforce from day one.

A proud graduate of the University of Toronto, Jiayue earned her Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering in 2004. She graduated as the #1-ranked student in Canada (out of ~15,000 graduates) and conducted her undergraduate thesis on Information Theory under the guidance of Professor Wei Yu. She went on to earn her Ph.D. in Computer Networking from Princeton University in 2008, advised by Jennifer Rexford and Mung Chiang.
