Sorry, ESEC is exclusively for EngSci students and registration is required.  We do not have capacity to accommodate non-EngSci guests (T-cards will be checked).

Attendance on conference day is mandatory for Year 1 and 2 EngSci students, and optional for Year 3 and 4.

All EngSci students are invited to the Fireside Chats and Lunch & Learn.

The Engineering Science Education Conference (ESEC) is an annual conference organized by EngSci students exclusively for EngSci students.

Our aim is to broaden our students' horizons through engagement with world leaders in a wide range of sectors broadly related to the subjects covered in our program.

On Thursday, Jan. 8, there will be a special ESEC 2026 Prep Workshop.  We strongly encourage Years 1 & 2 EngSci students to attend!

On Thursday, Jan. 22, all EngSci students are invited to the Fireside Chats!  These are informal small group conversations where you can get to know this year's speakers.

On conference day, two Speaker Sessions will run concurrently in different rooms.  We will also have a Lunch & Learn session during the midday break where students will interact with speakers.  See the full schedule here.

Our team does a lot of work to make the conference as valuable for students as possible.  Help us polish EngSci's reputation by giving our guests an enthusiastic welcome!

Attendance is mandatory for Years 1 and 2 EngSci students.  You will receive notification of the minimum number of sessions to attend in the weeks before the conference--stay tuned to your inbox!
