What is ESEC?

The Engineering Science Education Conference (ESEC) is an annual conference organized by EngSci students exclusively for EngSci students.

Our aim is to broaden our students' horizons through engagement with world leaders in a wide range of sectors broadly related to the subjects covered in our program.

For more information visit uoft.me/engsci-esec or the EngSci Orientation blog.

You can also check out videos of the ESEC 2019 playlist on the EngSci YouTube channel.

What will ESEC 2023 look like?

We happily announce that ESEC 2023 will be an in-person, one-day event!

Fireside chats will occur the day before the ESEC conference.

Unlike ESEC 2021 and ESEC 2022, speaker sessions will run concurrently. Two speakers will be presenting during the same timeslot, in different rooms

Is ESEC mandatory for EngSci students?

Attendance is mandatory for Years 1 and 2 EngSci students.  You will receive notification of the minimum number of sessions you must attend in the weeks before the conference--stay tuned to your inbox!

T-cards will be scanned at the session entrances.
