Congratulations to the graduating EngSci class of 2T1 and 2T0 PEY!
The University of Toronto is pleased to announce the date of our Spring 2021 virtual convocation ceremony. We understand the importance of celebrating your remarkable achievements and hard work in reaching this significant milestone, even at a time when our traditional convocation ceremonies are not possible because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
In place of in-person ceremonies, the University will host a virtual Convocation ceremony in which the Chancellor will officially confer degrees on members of the June 2021 graduating class.
Please find full details on the Convocation website.

Did you know that the Drinking Water Research Group (DWRG) at the University of Toronto has received funding from Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC), as well as the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) to investigate microplastics in Canadian drinking water? Efforts by the DWRG over the past three years have led to the development and subsequent refinement of advanced microplastic sampling and analysis techniques, allowing us to focus on the different health impact related issues.
But what exactly are Microplastics and why are they referred to as a “triple threat”?
We are thrilled to announce the return of in-person U of T Pride Pub for 2022.
Start YOUR pride celebrations with U of T surrounded by friends and colleagues in the beautiful outdoor Hart House Quad at the U of T Pride Pub. Join the party early for an outdoor event with food and drinks, a Community Fair with local 2SLGBTQ+ organizations, a photobooth from our friends at Alumni Relations, and kid-friendly activities care of MoveU and the Family Care Office. Or wait until the stars come out to dance the night away with our fabulous DJs, DJ Shannyn Hill and Deejay Jams, and performers, the beautiful and hilarious drag queen, Erin Brockobić and Ballroom legends, House of Monroe. All activities will be organized keeping in mind COVID health and safety protocols.
This event is open to U of T students, staff, faculty, alumni, friends, families, and community members – everyone is welcome to attend!
